Software gets architected, designed, implemented, tested and finally, deployed on field, wholly directed by human intellects. On the other hand, in engineering activities, especially in process plants, the human intervention is required only to provide specification for the desired output. The sequence of activities involved in the actual production of the desired output is by way of sophisticated automated systems.

The objective of software engineering is to achieve the same level of sophistication in software development. EthicSoft has conceptualized a proprietary software engineering model that consists of the following:

1. EthicSoft Organizational Model (ESOM)

2. Process Directed Methodology for IT Services (PDMITS)

EthicSoft has ventured defining processes for implementing these models. Having implemented these models, EthicSoft has gone ahead identifying significant milestones both in the ESOM and PDMITS for carrying out a set of basic quantitative measurements.

Performance measures are defined with the quantitative values derived from the basic measurements. These measurements are fed back to the models at appropriate points to improve their performance.

With this, the software Engineering model of EthicSoft can be viewed as a close loop control system. This system always regulates and bring back the system to a strategic point at which EthicSoft shall be in a position to offer predictable, cost effective end-to-end IT solutions.
